Smart Auto-Staffing (Zero-Prompt)
GOSMARTSchedule utilizes Google Gemini AI to automate the creation of complex daily rotations. This is a One-Click Automation — you do not need to type in any prompts or instructions.
The Rotation Workflow
Personnel Onboarding
Begin in the Admin Dashboard by populating the organization roster. You can use the "Single" form for manual entry or the "Bulk" tool to paste CSV-style data (Name, Title, Branch, Site, Color).
Timeline Orchestration
Launch the Roster Management view to access the visual timeline. This is your sandbox where you can drag-and-drop shifts, duplicate assignments, or toggle visibility for pending tasks.
Atomic Adjustments
Use Quick Edit (double-click a shift block) to modify task labels or time ranges instantly. The system utilizes atomic Firestore updates to ensure zero data collisions with other staff records.
Sync & Deployment
Once a day is perfected, use Sync Branch to duplicate that logic across future dates, or save it as a Blueprint Template to be reused seasonally or for special events.

Snap-to-Grid
Timeline shifts automatically align to 15-minute increments (0.25h). This ensures precision in closing shifts and eliminates overlapping task conflicts.
Blueprint Engine
Isolated from live data, templates allow you to design "Master Rosters" that can be deployed to the production timeline with a single click ("Go Live").
Role Delegation
System Admins can review pending user registrations and grant "Admin Role" status, giving specialized staff access to the supervisor toolkit.
CSV Export Engine
Generate distribution-ready CSV files directly from the live rotation or admin panels for offline printing or organization-wide email updates.
System Integrity
Global Hierarchy
The Personnel table automatically sorts staff by seniority (Division Head > Manager > Librarian > Page). This hierarchy is maintained during all Sync operations.
Safety Toggle
The AI Auto-Staff engine includes a manual interlock. Supervisors must explicitly "Arm" the engine before automated scheduling can proceed, preventing accidental data overwrites.
